Living the American Dream: and Helping Others

When Karlie Kloss was just fifteen, Teen Vogue predicted herself (Chanel Iman, and Ali Michael) to become the most successful natives of the US supermodels. The endearing, and immensily talented (ranked at 3rd best model in the world by models.com at just nineteen years old) Karlie Kloss has walked the runways for Anna Sui, Diane Von Furstenberg, Zac Posen, and Marc Jacobs just to name a few. She was the face of Marc Jacobs fragrance, "Lola", and just last year joined Adriana Lima, Miranda Kerr, Alessandra Ambrosio, Chanel Iman and the other angels on the biggest fashion show of the year: the Victorias Secret runway show. As she stated at the show, she is living the American dream. What nineteen year old would not want to live the glamorous life of Karlie Kloss or Chanel Iman? The real question is what nineteen year old would not let all this fame and success go to their head? The answer of course is Karlie. Karlie Kloss is teaming up with designer and friend, Jason Wu to raise $50,000 for the AIDS walk on Sunday, (May 20, 2012). The idea came about when a friend mentioned this idea to Karlie and Jason at the Met Gala last week. Karlie sported a white peplum Jason Wu cocktail dress, with Jason Wu in hand as her Met Gala date. You can say there was a bit of a height difference there. Good luck Karlie, you have a good head on your shoulders!
